Paul's Bio

Paul Lipschutz, is a well-seasoned veteran of the financial world. Paul graduated from The Wharton School with a B.S. in Economics and minor in Communications and went on to law school then drafted into the US Army. Following his service he joined Hutton & Co. and soon became a marketing manager for 26 offices. His experience with investing, managing and strategic planning for 36 companies has sensitized him to the need of capital to grow businesses. Paul has been CEO of eight public companies.

His experience in sports management, franchising, licensed products for college and major league sports and movie properties, the beverage and restaurant business, hotel ownership and manufacturing gives him the background to assist clients with financing, workouts, and consulting.

 

Paul and his wife Lyn split their time between Ft. Lauderdale and Philadelphia.

With 30 years as an Advertising/Marketing Communications Generalist working with various Entertainment, Broadcast Production and Branding | Advertising/Marketing Communications companies, David brings a diverse and well-rounded experience-base to THE PRODUCTION NETWORK. Coupled with his endless energy, fresh, entrepreneurial ideas and optimistic perspective on life, David is duly qualified to lead the TPN team.

As founder and CEO of the world’s first consortium of synergistic services created for executives working within the Gaming & Hospitality industry at various casinos and resorts nationwide and abroad, David is known as The Relationship Guy™.

As a former Senior Vice President of New Business & Account Management for one of the country’s leading Advertising/Marketing Communications companies operating in the Gaming & Hospitality industry, David was one of the initial, integral agency executives responsible for the ideation and creation, corporate structure and cultural development and ultimate success of an agency that generated well over $30MM in gross revenue via six offices employing over 200 FTE’s nationwide.

Wherever he landed, David was known to possess boundless energy and enthusiasm with an unquenchable tenacity and proclivity for creating relationships that generated interest and consummated in gross revenue.

Jan’s creative direction is meticulous, with an eye for elegance and simplicity, a brand storyteller whose passion is evident in the end product. His work has been recognized and awarded on local, national, and international levels. He creates communications for all integrated channels, and while he shares equal passion for brand architecture, strategy, and identity development, he is an accomplished writer for broadcast, directs commercials, and spearheads many of the agency’s most visible assignments.

Jan has worked in almost every industry vertical from financial services, healthcare, pharmaceutical, tech, start-ups, and gaming and hospitality where he a recognized national expert and speaker. Julia Carcamo is president and chief brand strategist at J Carcamo & Associates, a brand development and marketing strategy firm specializing in the casino industry. Following a successful tenure at Caesars Entertainment where she developed the initial brand architecture for the company’s core brands, including Total Rewards, she went on to develop all the brands and guest touchpoints housed at Wynn Las Vegas.

She was at the helm of development of the Isle of Capri house of brands – introducing new brands and successfully connecting with new and inactive customers, as well as driving the reintroduction of the iconic Lady Luck Casino brand. Recognizing the impact the Hispanic market is having now, and will have in the future, she has co-founded espÑOLA, a Hispanic marketing and engagement agency. She writes on a variety of marketing topics with an emphasis in the casino industry and small businesses.

Joi Marcum has 37 years experience in marketing and advertising. Joi began her career in Boston during the 80’s working for NYNEX (New York-New England Telephone) as advertising coordinator. She was one of the original six (6) staff hired to open the first office for celluar phones, when they were invented and introduced to in the United States . After returning home, to Oklahoma, Joi has been employed by prestigious television and radio stations in Oklahoma City. She has four (4) exclusive years working with advertising agencies. Then Marcum Media was established in 2011 concentrating on her passion to provide these businesses with the same level of expertise as National advertisers have no matter how small or large the budget may be. Mr. Witterschein is President of Tribal Gaming Services & Advisory Group, Inc. a Minneapolis based nationwide Indian Gaming and Tribal Government consulting practice with a focus on development, marketing and casino strategy. He brings in excess of thirty five year’s casino management and marketing experience to a wide variety of marketing and operational initiatives.

Working nationwide he has been involved with a vast array of Native American casino operations of all sizes from coat to coast. The roster of Indian tribes that have utilized his expertise for management consulting, marketing advisory and staff mentoring runs across every gaming jurisdiction in the country.

He holds a B.A. degree in Social / Political Science from St. Bonaventure University and is a graduate of the Industrial Relations Center for Executive Education at California Institute of Technology in Pasadena.

Jimmy Richards

Jimmy's Bio

Jimmy Richards has become a quintessential entertainment insider with his 20+ years in the casino promotions and entertainment business. He’s just a good ol’ boy from the South Side of Chicago, and he’s been producing live game shows for the better part of his career. He brought the FIRST EVER Licensed Game Show Promotion to the casino industry with Wheel of Fotrune, and has held licenses with such other notable brands as Hollywood Squares, Jeopardy, and The Price is Right. In 2007, Jimmy founded the Game Show Hall of Fame and inducted Wink Martindale, Peter Marshall and Hugh Downs, and presented a lifetime achievement award for Merv Griffin. Less than 1% of shows make it to the entertainment capital of the world (Las Vegas, of course!), and Jimmy really “hit the jackpot” when his show, the $250,000 Game Show Spectacular, had a one year contract with the Las Vegas Hilton starring Bob Eubanks, Jamie Farr, and Chuck Woolery. Some of his favorite years were spent as a business partner with Ray Charles up until the end of his life. Together, they embarked on several successful business ventures- most notably the design, development and implementation of the Ray Charles animatronic singing doll, which quickly sold over 100,000 dolls nationwide at Walgreens. In addition to this, Jimmy has been a part of the Sammy Davis Jr. estate since 2008, bringing the world the first ever “conceptual musical” about his amazing career, entitled “Sammy Davis Jr., The Ultimate Entertainer.” He has worked with some amazing talent over his professional years, but most impressively he has raised three daughters who have grown up to follow in his goal oriented mind set and do incredible things.

On the South Side of Chicago, people look to Jimmy as their Chief Special Events Commissioner- Jimmy organized the “Save Our Sox” campaign and struck a deal with the City of Chicago to keep the White Sox in Chicago; he created and was the chairman of Oak Lawn Family Days in its early years; and he participates in many charitable and family oriented events including the Illinois Special Olympics, which his daughter Jenna is an active participant. He continues to call Chicago his home base, and is happier than he’s ever been- so many successful ventures behind him, and too many to count in the future! Although he’s all business on the outside, he’s got the chops to be on the stage- listen for his booming announcer voice during America’s Greatest Game Shows!

In addition, he is an experienced expert legal witness in the areas of marketing and research.
Michael is a recognized expert in gaming marketing and research, and has conducted projects in every legal domestic gaming jurisdiction. Michael’s depth of experience and understanding in the gaming industry is the result of working extensively with a variety of perspectives specific to the gaming arena, including patrons, governments, regulators, operators and suppliers.
During the company’s 40 years as consultants to the gaming industry, over 1,000,000 individual quantitative interviews and in excess of 2,500 qualitative sessions specific to the gaming industry have been completed.
Michael is the recipient of the 2013 Lifetime Achievement Award in casino marketing.
Michael has served as a guest lecturer at Loyola Marymount University, Northrop University, University of Nevada Reno as well as UNLV in Singapore. Noreen spent a good portion of her corporate career working in the wireless industry for Bell Atlantic Mobile from the early 1990’s thru the late 1990’s beginning in the retail sector. She started out Managing several Stores and then moving into the Corporate office heading the Business to Business Group in the Direct Sales Sector.
After a successful run in corporate Noreen took the next 13 years off to raise a family. In 2010 she began a new business focusing on the recent deregulation of Energy that was rapidly growing throughout the U.S. Noreen works as an independent agent in the residential and commercial energy markets helping consumers, commercial property management companies and all types of businesses small, medium and large save money. In the first four years she achieved a position of Executive Director and reached #28 in the company for performance in sales.
Noreen’s goals throughout her career have been to provide professional representation while strategically offering services of great value at competitive costs.

Doug Boon, an enrolled member of the Tulalip Tribes of Washington has served Indian Country for the past 31 years. Doug is a nationally honored leader within Indian Country; with a successful track record of highly effective leadership skills; transforming and strategically aligning businesses to increase growth, raise profitability and position them for the future. He has testified before the Senate, Congress, Internal Revenue Service and the National Indian Gaming Commission at both the State and National levels regarding many issues affecting Indian Country. Doug has the unique ability to bridge the gap between Tribal Nations and Corporate Business Culture with his uncompromising ethics, integrity and sound fiscal responsibility.
Most of his career has been spent as a General Manager and CEO for the Casino Hospitality industry however Doug has expanded his focus to business development and in the last 6 years to the Cannabis industry and how it works specifically for Indian Country.

Doug planned, designed and implemented the opening of one of the first Native Cannabis operations for his people at Tulalip. He developed the business plan, wrote the laws and codes needed to operate and developed the first set of Internal Controls for Cannabis Retail operations for a Tribally owned and operated business to operate within the framework suggested to States and Tribes for cannabis operations.

Doug brings a wealth of knowledge and business acumen to all business endeavors but his knowledge of the Cannabis industry as a new emerging growth market is invaluable.
